What services will CarFAX report?

CarFAX accepts service records for many types work performed:

  • Paint correction, ceramic coating installation and maintenance, paint protection film installation.

  • Maintenance services such as windshield repair, window tint installation, oil changes, tire rotation, dent repair, rim repair, cabin and engine air filter replacements, etc.

  • Repair services such as engine, brake, suspension and body work.

How does my customer view their vehicle's CarFAX report?

Your customer can access their vehicle's CarFAX report free of charge at the CarFAX website. They must create an account with CarFAX and add their vehicle information to their user profile.

When will reported services appear on a vehicle's CarFAX report?

Service records for COMPLETE jobs are transmitted to CarFAX daily. It may take several days for the record to be available on the vehicle's CarFAX report.

How do I request new service be added to the CarFAX service list?
