What does it cost to use the Detail Bookie commissions feature?

The commissions feature is free while in beta testing.

Detail bookie will charge a per-user fee for access to the commissions management feature. More details will be available soon.

What are the steps to assign and pay commissions?

  1. A commission earner is assigned commission for a work order. They assign themselves, or a manager assigns them.

  2. Your commission manager reviews before payout and approves, denies or customizes commission payout amounts.

  3. Your payroll report provides detailed records of all commissions, how they were calculated, and who they are paid to.

How are commissions calculated?

  • Flat bonus commissions: A flat bonus amount is paid per work order.

  • Straight rate commissions: A percentage of the invoice amount charged.

  • Combined rate and bonus: A flat fee plus a percentage of the invoice amount charged.

You may choose to allow a commission earner to have multiple commission profiles on the same work order. For example, if your employee could earn both the $10 sales commission and the 15% technician commission on the same invoice if you allow it.

Can my commission earners see information about their commissions?

Your commission earning staff has access to a My Commissions Page where they can review their pending unpaid commissions, as well as the last 90 days of commission payouts.
